for sculptors and potters

A majority of traditional limiting rules for clay work no longer apply....

When you fire in a kiln the paper pulp burns away leaving just ceramic and glaze result near impossible with naked eye to tell from tradtional.

If you dont have a kiln you have a durable alternative result to keep.

P'Clays store as tiles in dry state and can be recycled in water when ready to use again too.

The technical freedom and expanded possbilities for self expression I dreamed of as a child

are now reality.

What forms will we see in paperclay ceramic now

that we never could make by hand before the right ratio was found and the years of fearless trial by fire by colleauges now have tested the medium in art studios around the world.

paperclay in brief : what is it?

Paper clay ceramic is a user and eco-friendly water based affordable modeling media made of clay blended with cellulose fiber from paper pulp, recyled paper when possible. It all depends on how much paper pulp has been added. You can try mixing yourself, recyling your own paper, or just have some of our patented ready blend for a try out.

P'Clays® are that group of cellulose fiber (paper pulp) bearing clays based from Porcelain, Stoneware, Terra Cotta, Majolica, China Clay, Earthenware, Whiteware, Raku, Sculpture, Potters, etc. My vision includes early stage research applications and adaptations beyond art for water filtration, bioceramic- meeting of organic and inorganic sciences of rmedicine, building, and more.

P'Slip ® are ceramic paper clays in liquid slurry form for Adhesive, Joins, Patch, Repairs, Casting in or on Plaster, etc.

The result when finished and fired with glazes is nearly indistiguishable from a traditional clay. However, the weight may be lighter.

It has distinct technical advantages to traditional clay for makers, artists, designers such as it can be worked wet on dry, serve as its own armature, has nearly double green strength, can be repaired, transported, fires lighter weight, can be porous or non porous vitrified, and more
