The company was first organized as Rosette Gault Studio for high end and domestic ceramic art production and teaching in 1981. I expanded to include publishing of handbooks in1993, and set up New Century Ceramics for licensing, technical and market support for clay manufacturers 1994. We established www.paperclayart.com to serve the worldwide need for information about my methods of making and working with ceramic paperclay. We became a Washington State Corporation soon thereafter.
Today, we have three divisions. We continue as an incubator or artist /inventor's laboratory and research studios for emerging ideas and visions that enhance quality of life and serve the creative spirit and soul.

New Century Ceramics (founded in 1993) develops applications for ceramic paper clay ceramic technologies including P'Clay® and P'Slip® modeling clays. We provide technical and marketing services to licensed manufacturers in both art clay and industrial applications.
The company owns, maintains, and licenses patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret information and "know how" technology involving special ceramic compounds for firing in kilns with cellulose fiber. We also offer licenses for research and development related to these clays.
