P'Clay® Sculptor Blend
Pink Label (with long paper fiber)
All purpose ultra duty clay for hand building, pressmolding, and even "raku". Strongest green strength. Can be worked and assembled wet over bone dry. Non-fire air set option. Potter friendly for pulled handles, and basic no trim forms because leather hard stage is tough compared to traditional.
P'Clay® Potter Blend
Yellow Label (with mini paper fiber)
Formulated for potters who need a trim and carve leatherhard friendly paperclay closer to traditional. It does have a slightly different feel to get used to. Good for complex forms like teapots, handle, 's' crack repairs and for detail and carving.
P'Slip® Basic Blend Green Label
is a watered slurry version of P'Clay® in buckets for Adhesive, Coating, Surface or Large Casting. Basic P'Slip® for assembly of dry or leatherhard P'Clay® structures. Apply liberally to both joints then stick. Can repair most cracks at green or even bisque. May be poured or smeared over plaster slabs or open plaster or latex molds. Good green strength.
P'Slip® Casting Blend
is prepared specifically for use in conventional pouring plaster molds. Castings set up quickly, can be released from the molds sooner, and green strength allows risk-free transport. Castings can be fettled or carved, altered, mended, assembled at bone dry. Versions of this are suitable for ram press and other uses.

Manuacturers can prepare custom blends for you and adjust recipes slightly for special needs.Most pre-existing quality manufactured clays clay bodies can be converted to a P'Clay® or P'Slip® by your nearest licensed manufacturer to meet your specific application or purpose with the recipe adjusted for even lighter weight, large scale, ram press etc.. All types described to right may not be available in every region yet. Manufacturers will introduce or stock as interest and sufficient demand warrants.
Expect your high or low fire glaze compatible trademark P'Clay® to arrive in soft, pliant, uniform color ready to use in resealable plastic bags each weighing about 25 pounds or 10 kg. There should be no flecks of paper visible to the naked eye..
Price (Sug. Retail) Range: about USD$9-$15 per 25lb bag depending on the shipping/delivery and the type of base clays.. One bag is enough for take home projects for as many as 30 students which averages out to be a mere 40 cents per student for take home projects. Use fresh as possible.
Warning: Do not accept cheap imitations as you will be dissappointed, they will not perform as well as advertised. To avoid patent violation commercial manfacturers might be tempted to offer so- called paperclay products with less than the the right amount of paper in them! These will crack up in drying, will not be reliable wet on dry, and other problems.
Warning risk to those who might be tempted to purchase small batches studio made from neighbors. Nothing in those ingredients have been pre-tested or certified as non toxic and safe for sale to the public. Other complications could happen you could easily avoid. Overseas: Get started in manufacture without trial and error or risk of bad batches. Let us make your new line a success.
