Technical Note for makers:
It is possible to apply your image to soft stage paperclay, or even bone dry stage.
Then carve and fettle details down in and around the image.
Or, even build up fresh soft contour up in low relief.
Or take it further and embed sculpted or cast parts into the image.
These examples to give ideas.
